About Epoxy Flooring Shreveport
Epoxy Flooring Shreveport puts resin coatings on concrete in Shreveport, Bossier City and the surrounding parishes. Our jobs are garage floors, patios and pool decks, shop and service bays, and interior slabs that owners want finished with flake or metallic epoxy. We install epoxy, polyaspartic and flake broadcast systems, and we pick one after we have looked at your slab.
Northwest Louisiana gives concrete a rough life. Summers are long and wet, the air holds a lot of moisture most of the year, and a lot of the ground is clay that swells and shrinks. A garage floor poured in the 1970s may carry fifty years of oil, a layer of old paint and a few cracks that open every dry spell. A newer slab east of Bossier City may look clean and still sweat on a humid spring morning. Those floors need different prep, and the prep is what decides how long the coating lasts.
How a job runs
- We visit, measure the floor and check it for moisture, oil, old coatings and cracks.
- You get a written quote naming the system, the prep, every coat and the total.
- We grind the concrete with diamond tooling, including the edges, and vacuum the dust.
- Cracks, chips and spalls are filled before the base coat. Joints that need to move stay as joints.
- We schedule around heat, rain and humidity and tell you when you can walk, load the room and drive on the floor.
- If something changes once the floor is open, we write up the change and wait for your approval.
We work on concrete only. Wood, tile and vinyl floors need a different trade. If a slab has a problem a coating will not solve, such as an active leak or a section that keeps heaving, we tell you before you pay for a finish.
